BNO Bubbly Sparkling Wine Serving Tips

Tis’ the season to be popping the cork and pouring your favorite sparkling beverage to celebrate the New Year, new engagements and starting new chapters in your life. There's nothing more festive and nothing so important, so of course you want to get it right. Have no fear! I'm here to bring you some great tips for enjoying your celebratory drinks.

BNO Bubbly Serving Tips

  1. Each bottle pours approximately 6 full glasses, 12 toasting glasses, or 1 bottle for a very drunk bride.
  2. Remember to keep it well chilled to aid the flavor and limit the overflow when opening
    - Preferably use a wine bucket, half-filled with ice and water, for 30 minutes.
    - Alternatively store the bottle in the refrigerator for approximately one hour.
  3. Wipe each bottle before opening to prevent slippage
  4. When opening
    - Keep your thumb on top of the cork as you untwist the wire so it doesn’t pop unexpectedly
    - Lay a towel over the cork to help your grip and to catch any potential spills (You surely don’t want to waste a drop of fabulous BNO Bubbly.)
    - Hold the bottle straight up and not at an angle and avoid standing over it (It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.)
    - Gently turn the bottle and not the cork, so that you hear a “woof” or “the sigh of a French maiden” and not a pop
    - NEVER use a corkscrew, or else.
  5. When pouring each glass, end with a quick turn of the bottle to catch the drops
