Thanksgiving Bachelorette Party Planning Tips

The Bride’s Night Out, Inc. team has already started booking parties for November 2009 for brides that have lengthy engagements and the luxury of extra planning time. However, I know that there are many 2008 Thanksgiving brides-to-be who have spur of the moment weddings and are just now trying to tie all the pieces together for their last night out. Have no fear; we can help you with that last minute event and I’ve put together some tips to assist you in getting started with your bachelorette party.

1. Timing: If your wedding is around the Thanksgiving holiday or at the end of November, you should book your party this week to occur at least 1 week before your wedding ceremony. The best dates would be: November 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, or 23.

2. Invites: Evites and invitations should be sent out this week. We can handle those details for you. You should also follow-up with a phone call to your guests to make sure that they received the invitation and know the bachelorette party details.

3. Party Options: As we get closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, bars, nightclubs, and restaurants have limited schedules since they are used for private parties. Also, the weather is colder during this time of year and some folks prefer to stay in one location. Here are some ideas for parties that may work for you.
*The BNO VIP Party on the town hosted by a BNO Party Guide who plays games with you the entire night. We’ll get you the scoop on the best locations and make all the arrangements.
*Keep your guests in one spot with a wine pairing dinner which we can arrange for you. A BNO Party Guide can also make an appearance for that special roast, toast and cake cutting.
*If you don’t want to venture outside, the BNO massage party is a perfect choice where we come to your home. Imagine your guests relaxing in one room and then going to another for some games with a BNO Party Guide. Other entertainers are also available including psychics, makeup artists, hypnotists, magicians and more.
*And if you want something completely customized for you, we have in-person and phone consultations to help you do it on your own or we can plan your entire event to suit your desires, known as Pamela Yager’s Party by Design.
