David’s Bridal Burbank Appearance
There’s nothing more enjoyable than having an opportunity to meet in person with brides-to-be, grooms-to-be, and their family and friends. Due to our relationship with the David’s Bridal store in Burbank, California, I was able to spend most of Saturday at the location and chatted with many of the visitors. I met brides that are just getting started with their planning for weddings in November 2009, others that are finalizing arrangements for nuptials in less than a month, and bridal attendants that are eager to help their friend have the best celebration possible.
In meeting with each of them, I was asked several questions about the planning process, pre-wedding parties, and what ideas I could offer for “modern” bachelorette parties. I’m sure many of you may have similar questions and I wanted to share with you some of the important questions and answers of the day.
Q. I’m a bride and I’m getting married in New York next year. Can you offer help for me in that location?
A. Yes, Bride’s Night Out, Inc. is nationwide and we have a team of Party Consultants that can help you with any aspect of your celebration. From your bachelorette party coordination to day of execution, and all the details in-between, we’re here to help you navigate through the process of planning your special events.
Q. I’m having an untraditional wedding, since I’m over 40 and more laid back, and I’m not sure if I should have a bachelorette party. Should I do it and do you have something that would suit me?
A. I always suggest that brides-to-be, no matter what their age, should have a bachelorette party, because it’s a great opportunity to relax with friends before the big day. There are no rules as to what you can and can’t do for your bachelorette celebration, and we work with you to tailor an event that compliments your personality and wedding celebration. Some of our over 40 bride clients enjoy our jazz dinners, wine tasting events, chef cooking classes, and relaxing massage & play parties with a comedy trained BNO Party Guide.
Q. My daughter is getting married and she wants to go out with her friends for her bachelorette party but I don’t know if they’ve planned anything. I’m concerned, because I want it to be special for her. What should I do?
A. We understand the delicate nature of getting involved and we have worked with many mothers of the bride (MOB) who have similar concerns. Some MOBs give the maid of honor a call and give them our information, some have us call the party host and say we were referred by you, and others make all the arrangements with us directly. In our experience, the maid of honor or friend that is in charge of the planning is thrilled to have BNO help in planning that event she’ll always remember.
